Look forward to an early rise as our guides meet you, ready for a day of exploration in the celebrated Kruger National park. The Park offers an unrivalled wildlife experience that ranks with the best not only in Africa, but around the world. Its rich history dates back to 1898, and its goal has always been to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld. Today, this national treasure offers 2 million hectares of unspoiled African wild.

Truly the flagship of the South African National Parks, Kruger remains home to an impressive number of species ranging from 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 517 birds and 146 mammals. Look forward to a safari experience that unfolds from the moment you enter the Kruger Park, and explore the best game drive routes the Park has to offer.

Your game drive takes you to a remote site where we stop for a picnic brunch. After brunch, the rest of the day is spent discovering the Kruger Park’s various view points and waterholes. Following a busy day of sightseeing, we venture out on a late afternoon and early evening game drive with seasoned Kruger Park Rangers. We track elusive creates of the night while being guided by state-of-the-art spotlights. We return to the comforts of Thornhill Safari Lodge, where we enjoy yet another taste of traditional African cuisine before retiring to the peaceful sounds of the African bush.

Rising early we head off on a game walk where you can explore the reserve on foot. Our rangers know how to entertain guests with fascinating facts as they lead you in tracking game in the wild.

After a tasty breakfast, we greet you farewell as you depart on the next leg of your journey.
